Tanja & Aleš are „The Slovenian Acro Couple“. They are teaching classes and retreats worldwide and are the founders of the slovenian Acrofestival SAFE. For both the essential part about Acro is building up trust, doing the most challenging tricks in the most effortless way and having lots of fun. They are highly experienced in laying and standing H2H and F2H, but they also love crazy washing machines, whips, pops and icarian. Teaching together, they focus on adapting to their students levels and help them to increase their acro skills. Giving small but important details on the complex movements and encouraging people to take new challenges by respecting their own body and individual level, is their speciality.
Kasper Moritz Nielsen and Marie-Therese Pallis are an acroyoga couple with a passion for technical details and exploring the limits of stability. Their approach to teaching uses both carefully planned progressions as well as games and challenges, to break down the material to manageable sizes. Through presenting core concepts, they invite the students to develop their own understanding through reflection. They love to give the acro a scent of leading and following through nonverbal communication, or playing around with imposed limitations to discover challenging balances and transitions.
Catch them if you don’t only want a new washingmachine, but also want to know the principals of how it works, and how to use those, to make your acro run smoother in general
Juri Kussmaul & Elena Ayala
Juri is a certified AcroYoga teacher, circus performer, musician and artist of many disciplines. Originally from Kyrgyzstan, based in Berlin. 10 years ago, after studying Architecture and Sculpture (fine art) he discovered his passion for Acroyoga and Partner Acrobatics. Since then he's researching, teaching and performing a mixture of Acroyoga combined with the pleasure of the game from physical theater which he studied at physical theater schools in France (Phillippe Gaulier) and Italy (Matteo Destro).
Well known for his circus duo Barada Street and his playful Acroyoga classes he's travelling the world and sharing his passions.
Elena studied circus performance at CAO in Granada. She's a playful acrobatic teacher and circus performer.
Elena and Juri met in 2020 at the Partner Acrobatic Teachers Training in Spain. In this time they got to know each other and realized that they have a common philosophy of practicing and teaching partner acrobatics. Since this time they are working on a flamenco acrobatic show to share their passion with the world
„Every human has the inherent necessity to learn, imitate, connect and understand. As Children we learn with fun and pleasure. Becoming an adult we lose this connection of playing and learning for different reasons. Life gets more serious and our „inner critic“ is growing so that we get blocked in our body and mind to express and enjoy ourselves. In the game we're children again who trust in their impulses, enthusiasm and playfulness. We see and embrace this quality in practicing Acroyoga and look forward to playing with you in a trustful atmosphere.“
Eva is a certified Yogini, Flow Arts and Movement Lover based in Berlin. After being trained (200h) in Hatha Yoga by Radhika Kaur and Kiran Gonzáles in 2015, she started teaching and quickly developed her own style: Focusing on correct lines, strengthening back and shoulders and connecting breath and movement are core elements of her practice. In 2017, Eva founded “Acropathie” to delve further into the field of AcroYoga, bodywork and Thai Yoga Massage. Since then, she has been teaching (+500 h) at different venues, studios, festivals and organised her own Yoga and Acro Yoga retreats annually. In the wake of the corona pandemic Eva decided to work deeper on the interrelations between physical and mental health, underwent a 75h training by Yoga Vidya and started giving workshop on resilience and stress management at conferences.
“Your body is your castle.”
Eva loves to accompany her students exploring the many rooms of this castle - but also in observing and taking care of it.
Anja Commer aka. AnYeah Fitness has been teaching movement sessions since 2016. In the AcroYoga community she feels at home and enjoys the open and heartful communication with each other. For Anja the best experience in AcroYoga is to be able to grow way upon your personal potential because together you are stronger. She feels carried and is able to let herself go - especially in a big, warm cuddle net. She wants to be able to fly and base every acroposition and to be able to do it on the left side as well as on the right side.
She offers training which consists of functional movement patterns which are performed without any equipment. Fun is the key factor in her training and so the physical limit gets expanded, the participant is getting more flexible, gains endurance and of course stronger. After each movement session there follows the regeneration and for this process Anja leads you through active stretches and shows you myofascial self massage with help of fascia equipment.
Rilana and Anja teach AcroYoga to make the fun in this praxis more popular. This is why they love to teach beginner workshops. Their goal is to give a deep view on the Positions in AcroYoga and with this to build the grounding for flows and advanced movements. The two strong women stand for balanced movement patterns, a detailed knowledge of strength and mobility and the safety in training which will be provided through learning spotting techniques. As licenced fitnesstrainers they start their workshops with a sweaty warm up which contains the workshops requirements. Get ready for great Girls Power!
